About Westside MAPS
- What is MAPS? Westside M.A.P.S. (Marketing and Admissions Professionals for Seniors) is a non-profit networking organization dedicated to bringing individuals together that serve the senior community.
- Please tell me more about the MAPS meetings.
- MAPS meets the fourth Wednesday (unless otherwise noted) of every month from 8:30-10:00AM
- We meet at various locations throughout the Westside of Los Angeles.
- There is a $10 fee to attend each meeting.
- Breakfast or other refreshments is generally served at all meetings.
- What happens at the meetings?
- Meetings begin with time for refreshments and to network with other attendees.
- On even numbered months we have enlightening speakers that educate us on a wide variety of fascinating topics.
- On odd numbered months, we have open networking, so for the entire meeting you’re free to mingle with other professionals to get the word out as to who you are, what you do, and the clientele you seek.
- What does MAPS do with the money it collects?
- Your $10 donation to attend each meeting goes towards our annual grants to local non-profit organizations, as chosen by our members.
- In addition to our annual endowment, we also spearhead several other fundraisers throughout the year, including our Holiday Senior Needs Drive.
- How do I learn more about MAPS?
- If you would like to learn more about our exciting organization, please either join us for a lovely, complimentary breakfast and a morning of fun, friendly networking or call either of the M.A.P.S. Co-chairs listed under the Steering Committee link.
